'Approaching Maldon' - medium: pixels on screen
Digital Paintings are created from photographic images using Corel 'Painter 12' software and a Wacom tablet to effectively push the image pixels around on the computer screen. There are many brush and paint modes that can be selected using Painter so the effects that can be created are enormous. My favourite is the clone tool which grabs the colour base of the photo and drags and smears the 'paint' with a brush-like texture. The nice thing is, any mistakes are easily undone with a keystroke, and then applied again.
