Landscape Photography

Post production with the aid of modern computer software and fast processing power has changed the way we view our landscape through the lens. Even the traditional format of black and white has so many filter and enhancement options in post. HDR (High Dynamic Range) techniques are used to try and capture the scene as the eye sees it, despite the fact that we all are tempted to 'overcook' the HDR process. The images here are a combination of HDR production and the more traditional 'one-shot' capture. All are processed on the iMac using Aperture 3 and occasionally Photoshop or Silver Efex Pro.
