Copes Kayak Capers

Chris visited for 3 days from Bendigo and it was very hot. Fortunately his intention was to do some kayaking and fishing. We began with a 3 hour paddle, with strong current (fortunately) to cover about 30km from Alexandra to Molesworth on the Goulburn River.

The next day we drove north to the Lower Ovens Forest area known as Bundalong where the Ovens River branches into a complex array of billabongs and anabranches before entering the Murray.
